Nine (9) mixed media paintings on large-scale canvas. The body of work presents a vibrant collection of figures that compose a poetic narrative of the artist’s surrounding environment dispersed with observations of contemporary life. The work created is derivative of the twos friendship. An ode to collaboration. An aura of mystery invites the viewer to ponder the relation between artist and subject. The relationship is not always apparent, and can  often appear arbitrary, while the continuity lies within just that.  Adrift, cactus jack, sun soaked, sails set, idiosyncratic lettering, unconventional hues, kids who don’t stand a chance, beer in the park, Daniel & the sharks, on clouds under water, human nature, Hero, open sometimes always, charmingly distant. House is pleased to present Evan Mock and Jeff Weins’ No Time for Insecurities
